We are excited to promote our YW values as well as raise funds to help the Young Women attend girls camp this summer where they will learn more about these values and how to apply them to their lives.
We are proud of the values that we hold and that it helps raise young women to be responsible, loving, service-oriented daughters of our Heavenly Father.
Along the path of this race the young women will be there to cheer on the racers as well as have descriptions of each one of these values to inspire.
Our motto can be best described by the young women theme of of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:
"We are daughters of our Heavenly Father who loves us, and we love Him.
We will 'stand as witnesses of God at all times, in all things and in all places' (Mosiah 18:9)
as we strive to live the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity
Virture
We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values we will be prepared to strenghten home and family, make and keep sacred covenants, receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.
